The spec sheet is interesting, 4 cylinder, 140 hp, 45 mph on water. Also, I saw in a couple places the selling price is around $40K

Taller tires? You did see they retract (for lack of a better term) when in "boat" mode.

I saw the if...I was just pointing to it being highly unlikely. I have no skin in the game though and I'd be happy to read the build thread on it.

Don’t know, haven’t seen the specs, but if all three of those “if’s” were possible, I find it very appealing.

Even so, I’d not be in on the first model or two. I’d have to see how these things were holding up on land and water for a bit first.

The concept is killer though.

Oh yeah, on the trail. That’s why it looks like it could use taller tires and a supplemental skid over that fiberglass/plastic belly...

Somewhat related, when we had dirt track cars we would apply some oil (baby oil or similar) to components which in turn did help get mud off the car later and it is a practice I do even today. That is, I start with a clean unit and apply SR1 or oil to my unit, certainly makes it shine but the mud appears to me to come off more easily and leave less residue....

This one, when you get done trail riding, you just bathe it in the lake on an exhilarating joy ride....
