If you run a full windshield, get a full back panel, that helps. They're cheap.

It does reduce dust that comes in from under the seat. But just about the time you tell someone that it helps with dust they'll complain that they're still getting dusty.

Down here in fl. They call it sand. Sand blows all the way across the ocean from the Sahara desert. There is nothing much to do about it . A soft back panel by tusk helps.
