Is it necessary to have the stinger relay and additional fuse box when running just a winch and one light bar or can I just use the tru isolator kit and aux battery for a dual battery setup and hook the winch/light bar to the aux battery.

No they aren’t necessary. You can run it that way and it will be fine. The stinger is mainly used to control the fuse box as in only hot when the key is on.
