Hello
Was hooking an accessory to my positive post on battery and dropped bolt that connects battery cable. No clue where it went. Do I need to get replacement from dealer? Anyone know what size the brass bolt is?

thanks

No you dont have to get one from the dealer. Ive dropped one of those! There a bastard to find. What i did, was take the other side off and take it to the hardware store and match it up. Dosnt have to be brass. I would put some dielectric grease on the bolt/screw to prevent corrosion. I also bought a couple just for spite.

Metric for sure. Just a guess 6mm x 10 to 15mm 1 pitch. Like above, take the other one with you to check it in a gauge at the store.

Just replace mine with longer bolts after adding accessories. M6.. didn’t go back with brass, I just put some dielectric grease on them.
