I have a 2021 700-2D and I would like my doors to close tighter than they currently do as they rattle quite a bit. They do close but they're loose and have some play in them. Does anyone know if door adjustments are made on the door itself (pic 1) or the body side (pic 2)? Thanks in advance.
The round black rubber thing under the latch in picture 2 should be able to turn in and out by twisting it one way or the other and it "adjust" the pressure it places on the door to keep it feeling tighter and less noisy/bouncy. If it's too tight the door will only close on the first "click" which is like a safety catch on your car. Closed but not all the way closed. You have to adjust it just right to get the 2nd "click" and have it right enough it holds pressure onto the door that makes it feel tight.
Robo is correct. Also some doors will never get tight. But you can take the screw out of the rubber thingy and you can add a 1/4 piece of rubber fuel line. Just run the screw through the gas line then into the rubber thingy.as you tighten the screw the head will pull down into the gas line and extend you door rubber. Before this I used to put tape around it to extend.
I went to Walmart and bought the black feet for metal chairs $1.89 haven't rattled in 3 years. I put them over the factory stops that would not adjust out enough. You don't notice them , they look factory
