This is the cheapest (next to the reverse hack) but probably my best mod yet. I do a lot of night driving/hunting, so this was almost mandatory. I bought this pair of rock lights from Harbor Freight for $30 and they are simply amazing! Even with the way the roo hangs down in the rear, the entire bed gets lit up. Same for the one pointing into the cab. Four zip ties and run the wires. Too easy. I will have to take a night time picture tomorrow, I forgot to last night.

Looks great!
I bought these yrs ago and still going strong. There slim and bright as Comerica park! Added a dimmer switch to dim then down. They've worked so well, i put them in my service van for extra light

I installed a short string of LED lights that I placed inside clear vinyl tubing and sealed the ends with caulking, they have an integrated push button switch. Mounted with mini zip ties under the dash across the cab. Switch is just under the steering column, so when you turn on, lights up the foot well and front of seat. Seems I don’t have images.. sorry.

That was my first thought for the cab, but after realizing loading/unloading rifles or attaching lights on top of scopes is probably not the smartest with two of us in the cab. And doing it via super bright headlights kind of defeats the stealthy purpose.

I had a 20% off code at Black Oak LED so I picked up two green rock lights and mounted one as a dome light on my front overhead cross bar and one on my middle overhead cross bar as a cargo light. Waiting on XTC to ship my rocker switches but I hot wired them to test and they are perfect for providing cab light when needed and not ruining my night vision.

I mounted a Northern Tool cube led light on lower center outside of oem roof, can swivel for cab or cargo bed, switch on dash. Agree its very handy.

X2 on velcro strips on the one above the seats.

No points for pretty- when it’s dark, cold or wet.

I wanted a 12 volt dome light, with switch on it, wired to my "always on" buss, so it could be used conveniently (like the courtesy lights in a car - but with no door switches, of course). This one fills the bill and was easy to install. It has six possible mounting screw holes, all hidden under the snap in dome. The "boss" on each of the holes was close enough to the intended mounting surface that was able to use two layers (to build up thickness) of 3M VHB foam mounting tape on each boss. Clean mounting area with denatured alcohol - good to go.

I was wiring the forward bar for my cell phone and InReach anyway, so the install was quick and easy.

In the far corner is the mount for my cell phone. InReach will be mounted to the right of the phone and is awaiting the 1" ball mount to clamp on the 1.75" tube.

Edit to add the link to the light (only $13 bucks shipped!)

Oh, and I drilled a hole for wire exit on the side opposite the switch. Wiring encased in 1/4" sleeving.
