I made a windshield configuration with plexiglass and some chain link fence hardware. Fits nicely with the canvas top and easily removed if needed. Only use the vehicle working on the property and for an occasional spin up the road.
Plexi was $120—it’s gone up significantly due to the COVID based demand. For support I screwed the plexi into a piece of lath that spans the upper parts of the vertical roll bars. It’s tucked under the cover and painted black—so don’t even see it. I had a little chatter with the cover—so I used some Velcro with 2 sided tape that solved the problem. Good luck!I've been thinking of doing something fully detachable that would mount on the roof when not in use. For the most part, I like riding in open air, but it'd be nice to be able to put something in place on cold nights, or in the rain.
What's the cost for your plexiglass?
