Had a couple hrs free time this afternoon so I mocked up a rock slider using some 3/4" scrap DOM I had laying around for a test fit. No notching or nothing yet. If I decide to make them I'll use 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" DOM. My other idea would be follow the bed step body lines. This would bring the front arch back about 12".

Any thoughts or suggestions?

For it to be effective it would have to be really strong on the up rights.

Yep. It would be .95 walled but mounting is the problem. Only a couple spots for mounting points.

Yep! Would need to tie them into the S x S upright frame some how.
