What kind of synthetic is compatible? Dont want to mess with warranty. The guys that made the switch to synthetic have reported quieter rear ends. Haven't heard of any complaints. I can't speak from personal experience though. I think it mainly comes down to budget and personal beliefs on dino vs. syn.
I guess what I am saying is I have never seen 80w-90 synthetic. Its always 75w-140 or something.Any gear oil at the proper weight conforms to warranty, as long as you change at intervals required and can prove so. You will be good! I used amsoil because I had some on hand.
