P1000 Diff oils

I know this has been talked about but doing first service on diffs is lucus oil 85/90 good or should i stick with honda gear oil my local dealer did not have any said they didn’t know wen they were getting any so this is why I started shopping for another brand i know most of oils r about the same
Thoughts and suggestions appreciated

Thx i had read somewhere lots of folks wer going to 75/140 cause of nosiey diffs I really haven’t noticed mine being to badd but i know mobile 1 is good

I don't have any noise issues.
It's great oil because the viscosity range handles a wide range of temperature and it doesn't breakdown. My results have been great.

Ran lucus in some other stuff ive had thru the yrs always been good but i will for sure go to 75/140 will stop Tomorrow and get either lucus or mobile 1

I put lucas 75w140 synthetic in the differentials and it did make it a little quieter. 1qt does both the front and rear unless you have a limited which requires a little more.

I used the 75w140 synthetic in the transfer case under passenger seat. DID NOT WORK. Shifting became hard with first ever grinding noise. And shifter itself was hard to move. Afraid I was going to break/bend something inside. Anyway I had ZERO miles on it and changed it back to Honda lube. Now it works great with no grinding.

Got the diffs changed
oil was not dirty at all but went with mobil 1 75/140
