P1000 Diamond plate mount for PDM, True controller & 2nd Battery Holddown

Hello All,

I am mounting a 2nd Battery w/ True controller and a PDM. I had some extra diamond plate and wanted to try and mount it this way. Please let me know if you know of any reasons why this would not work.

I am going to bolt the diamond plate to the plastic in 4 places. The PDM fits perfectly and there is about 3/4" of space between the battery. I was also going to make a bracket to hold the battery in place.

Comments please.

That totally works and looks great but I like having access through that area to get to the back of the dash. Not a big deal though. That definitely looks clean!

Some progress today. Everything is mounted and I only need to connect the ground. I am planning on grounding to frame using a bolt through the upper left hood tray hole.

Don't forget - Measure once drill twice! Actually the measurement was correct. The battery bracket interfered with the PDM mount and had to be moved by 1/4". All is well that ends well.
