P1000m5 Detachable Flag Mount

Need suggestions on flag mount. 1/4", or larger 5/8", or something else?

Would like a clamp on mount for rear ROPS, maybe a snap on like a Honda mount.

And, preferably, a quick detach for the pole.

Would like a detachable system with a collar you slide up, mount up, and release to lock down and to remove, pull a collar up and remove the flag.

For the flag itself, you could use hydraulic threaded quick connects. This would give you a good stable connection but not have to worry about a bounce unleashing it or them wearing out quick. I believe you can get them down to 3/4 inch size in that style with i think with 3/8 or 1/2 inch pipe threads

I was just looking at Gumbeaux last night, and thought a mount for a flag would be a good idea. Or maybe one on each side of the bed.

This is what I did just last week

P1000 - Safety flag, safety triangle.

I did some searching on here and I did not see any posts regarding mounting of a safety flag or slow moving triangle to the ROPS. So I did some thinking and came up with a plan and I figured I could post it on here. I bought some led tube mounts and flag spring whip from Amazon. I bought the...

I have 1/4 and 5/8 flags. The 5/8 fits the spring mount solidly and I wrap a little electric tape on the 1/4 and then it too will fit solid.
