Hi All,

With the 2019's released now, does anyone know any dealers that are getting them ordered, or if they even can? I talked to my dealer and he said that he still have 6 2018's that haven't arrived yet.

I don't want to buy a 2018 if the 2019's are a month away.

Thanks.

Thanks for the updates guys. I talked with my dealer last night and will be getting a new 18. He has a few 19's ordered and 3 18's left in stock. If there is no difference in the machine itself (it's my understanding that the 18's had all the updates from the factory), I'll save $1050 to get a model year older.

I'd like someone to play devil's advocate and convince me to spend the extra money for the 19.

The only way I could tell you to do the 19 is if the Talon was out !

$1050 would buy a good set of wheels and tires

Someone brought up the point and this is one of the few things I can see buying the 19 vs the 18 and that's resale value. I know when I went to the dealer and talked about trading in, all he did was look up the year in the nada guide and gave me a price. I'm sure the resale value of the 19 would be greater, but as you found, so is the price.

Thanks for that opinion. I thought the same thing to myself but realistically, I'll be hanging on to this for a long long time. I could see myself buying a Talon a year or two after that comes out but the reason I wanted to buy new is so that I can maintain it and not have to put faith in someone elses incompetence.
