Ok smellers, Im doing some much needed refreshing of the Green machine. Was in my Foul language switch panel and somehow I tripped a fuse or a relay for the dash lights and the Headlights:rolleyes: what fuses or relays are for those? The main fuse line are all good. Im thinking its one of the front relays. What say you?
As you know its a 16’ P1K5

6th fuse from the back. 10 amp. It'll kill the lights and the dash. I looked in the owners and service manual and there is no good description for what relays do what.

Relays...
The outside blue one is the main headlight and power. I would look at this one if neither High or Low is working.
If Only high, or only low is working, then we need to look at those relays.
They are the 2 outside black relays. One for H, other for L.
Recap, blue relay powers both H&L relays.

Power for all comes from the 15A LIGHT RELAY fuse.

DISREGARD the above...
You said dash lights out too,
then....

We need to look at the 10A LIGHT FUSE.
This feeds the DASH MAIN line... I would assume that would be more than just the lighting tho being titled "main".
It also feeds the headlight switch.

Do the tail lights work?

Thanks Bossman.
yea its both dash and headlights high and low.
Ill have to check that when i get home after work if i have time before I go my bowling league.

To recap, the 10A fuse your referring to is in what i call the main long fuse panel under the hood?

Ok, got some time to get back to this. To answer your question, No tail lights parking or brake. Checked the light relay fuse 15a and light fuse 10a and they are all good. Im a bit at a loss. Any other ideas?

Trying to trace it back.....

You sure the 10A light relay fuse is good. Switch it with another just to be sure.

The BI/Br off the 10A light relay fuse controls the switch and the meter MAIN line.
You can see it pulls power from the 15A ACC fuse. Does your CIG scoket have power?
The BI/R line on the ACC fuse comes from the key switch.
