That is too bad. What happened if you don't mind me asking? Any chance it is a mix up, mis communication, or the checks in the mail?

Ahh dude I screwed up, should have gotten payment first. First few calls where "Out of town" " I will get my lady to send check". That was in first of September. Now, there is no reply, won't answer phone. If checks coming, it's been a LONG time. I had to pay for them out of my own pocket, not happy. He sends a check, I'll take it all back, but after 2 months....

I hear you dude, I don't believe anybody wants to start any crap. But it is a serious warning, and looks dimly for @d_b and it would be nice to see him either defend himself or settle up with you. My best wishes for you both in settling this matter.
