Just wanted to show off the plate i made on my CNC for mounting electrical components. Cut from 3/16 abs and spaced under with nylon spacers, installed with all ss hardware. I spent a lot of time cutting samples from scrap wood til I had it right but I'm very happy with how it turned out! 74e7b3fe57b7c3ac5808c1724d6d83d8

I like it! Could you make another blank like it and sell it?

I am definitely willing to sell these. Just trying to figure out the install situation. I bolted mine in with stainless hardware and nylon locking nuts, but I had to pull the front fender out to get to most of the nuts. I know most people aren't going to wanna deal with that so I'm trying to find a good thread forming screw to use that's available in the lengths I need. I've spoken with some manufacturers but I'd have to order 5k of each screw for custom designs. I was considering nutserts but I know a lot of people don't have those tools either. Willing to hear suggestions!

Nutserts are the way to go, you could always include an oversize nut, star washer and a longer bolt as an install tool for the nutserts. Nothing beats having the tool but that works.

I tried using standard nutserts in plastic. It didn't work very well. Definitely need to buy the correct ones for plastic.
