P1000 Cup holder modification?

Ok, I've searched and searched and can't find where someone modified their cup holders with an item from Amazon. Who the heck was that and where is the thread? lol. Stainless holders added to the existing holes. Anyone?

I use google like this:



I searched for the two key words "cup" and "holders" only in site:HondaSXS.com. Then I quickly linked them here.

Let's say you wanted to search for "roctane" or "roctanes". Simply key (site:HondaSXS.com roctane roctanes) it will bring up all references of those tires only on our forum

Yeah - thats the ticket!
So far nothing I drink fits in the stock cup holder.
I ordered them too.

Next time I need something I'll try "Ask Joe" instead of google. Faster and better results - LOL

i did this mod and it's great. took out existing cup holders, used a utility knife to make the hole larger and slipped the new cup holders in. This would have been much easier with a dremel, but i don't have one.

They have a double-sided adhesive tape under the lip. I chose not to use it because the hole I cut is so tight, the cup holder would never jump out.

Got these from BassPro. Didn't want the stainless cause it would have been the only shiny thing on my buggy. They are plastic and holds the knock off yeti's from Wal-Mart. Just took the old ones out and used my die grinder with a burring bit.

Yes CP they still have a smaller dia. part in the bottom.
