P1000 Code 24 - Shift Control Motor

I had a big storm come through while hunting and a couple days later it started just fine and died when I shifted into gear. Had to put it in E to get back to camp. Went through some connections and when I unhook the PCM the E code goes away and flashes “-“ very quickly. Does that mean it is the PCM? This is a 2016 1000

PMC most likely controls the code. But not to rule it out.

24 is the shift motor code.

Thank you. This is very helpful.
So when it flashes the 24 code then I need to address only the 24-1 on the sheet you sent? When I checked connections there was water in some of the connections close to the PCM but not in the PCM connectors. No water in the shift motor connectors.
