Hey guys, looking for some input. I had a Viking before the Pioneer and installed 814s, obviously the ride was awesome but the extra height was what I was looking for.

would love to have 814s again but they are so pricey. I could definitely put those funds to use elsewhere.

so…thoughts on going with a lift vs 814s?
I primarily use my machine for occasional trail ride but primarily hunting and working around the house.

If you're running stock shocks, not foxes, then just spend the money on the 814's. They'll give you an inch of lift and a lot better ride! I've never used a lift, so I can't say how they ride. Good luck!

Id stay away from a lift as well. Although cheeper, It changes the geometry of the machine and If u dont get rid of the stockers (shocks) youll have and even rougher ride Amongst other long term issues. I dont know if 814’s have the ability of per load? Foxes do And adding some to the shock will get some good lift.

814's have pre load adjustments. That's kinda the pain in the butt part about them. Everything's adjustable. So it takes some time to get them right. But, so far they're a darn good option.

I'm glad you asked this question! I hopped on here and used the search function to find out about 814's and how much lift they give the P1K. The stocker shockers suck donkey turds!

I got about 1.5” of lift out of mine. That and a true 28” tire made a big difference in my ground clearance

Which “true” 28” tire did you choose? I’ve looked at the Tusk Terrabites and Megabites, but they measure about 27.5” mounted. I gotta have something that wears reasonably well on pavement

Xtr370s they would rub with minimal compression before I got the shocks but not after

My 29" terrabites measure around 28" with 14psi. Between those and the 814's I gained an inch or 2 of lift with the factory a arms. I should've measured and taken pics first, but what l was used to hitting doesn't hit now.

The terrabites are great on pavement.
