P500 Check Engine Light

Just recently changed the air filter and now the check engine light is on and won't allow the machine to run for more than a few minutes.

So without asking 100 questions, I’m going to take a stab at this. Your new filter may be over oiled and not letting you P500 breath. Put your other filter back in a see what happens.

@Allison1101 did you oil the filter, or was this a new one from Honda? The new ones from Honda are most definitely NOT over oiled.
I've installed them pretty much soaked and never had an issue, but...seems like quite a coincidence.

Just leave the air filter out for a few minutes, see if it clears up

If its shutting off there must be a problem that's current and not a store code.

Its should flash the code when it dies.
