The last 3 years as new models have come out from 2018, 2019 and 2020 has there been any changes besides color scheme?
Is purchasing a 18, 19 or 20 all the same?
Looking at Honda website seems that the 19 and 20 are the same.

What is your opinion on the best trim to purchase for the money - base, deluxe or limited edition?

I think it's all the same. As far as trim it all depends on if you want i-4x4 or not;) I wanted a true locker that's why I went with the base and plan on add the deluxe panels in the future. But either one is a good choice

Welcome to the club from South FL!
I think theres not much if any differences between 18'-20'. As far as trim like @Isaiah mentioned the I-4WD is standard on the LE as well as fox shocks. Between the base and DLX models sometimes the price is/isn't a big gap. If its not then might as well go DLX but if it is then base is same exact machine just a cpl bells n whistles that can b upgraded down the line fairly inexpensive.

Officially, well publically, Honda claims they are the same.
But drive a 2018. Then drive a 2019+.
They feel totally different shifting wise.

2018 was the first year for the clutch update. 2018 also seen the most overheating issies out the gate.
Are these 2 issues related? I dont know.
