Decided to make one. About $50.00 into it.
I used HDPE sandwiched between 2 pieces of 1/8” aluminum. All fasteners are stainless steel cap screws with nylock nuts.
Thank you. That's nice. It looks like you have a 14" MS 19 Stihl on there. I have one of those as well, but I have a battery powered Greenworks chainsaw with a 14" bar I carry in my box. If your only going to cut a few logs to clear a trail that is the way to go. Now if your going to cut a poop load, I get taking the gas powered one.
I bought a ranch right on the Santa Fe National Forest with a gate straight out the back into 1.5 million acres. There’s so many miles of trails that people just don’t use anymore.
Now I just need an invite to come out for a week! I'll bring my saw!!Thank you.
Yes, I have a small arborist saw. I bought a ranch right on the Santa Fe National Forest with a gate straight out the back into 1.5 million acres. There’s so many miles of trails that people just don’t use anymore. I’ve opened up miles and miles of them, a tremendous amount of time and work.
That said, I hope that eventually the trails will be clear enough to only need the occasional cutting.
To that end I’ve had my eye on the battery powered Stihl that you referenced, and I believe I will eventually carry it in the same location as the arborist saw now...👍
Ok, granted and generally open with few date exceptions.......Now I just need an invite to come out for a week! I'll bring my saw!!
