What do you say we have a little fun- can you predict what the P1K speed limiter will be set to?

<edit> I'm wondering if I should have included a 35-39 mph choice?

No they have that covered with the Pioneer 500 & 700 models, I will be pleasantly surprised if it goes over 60 mph but doubt it.

The other question will be- how fast will it be able to go without an artificial limiter? With a low range available the high range should be pretty tall... 6 gears... It could probably really boogie, well past it's utility oriented setup's limits...

The good thing is a programmer and some simple motor work can have this machine screaming. My builder get's 75-85 HP out of TRX 450 motors easily, no doubt this motor will be capable of 120+ HP if you want to do some motor work.

N/A with about a 4k dollar build and super reliable. We raced our quads out in the desert sands dunes for years every season and never had a single motor problem with any of our bikes. The only Honda 450 based motors I have heard about blowing up were the big monster 450's built up to 600+ bore/stroke. The 520's and 550's and the like have been super reliable with insane power when built right.

What I was trying to say is some people might want more power and the Honda motors can take almost anything you want to throw at them. I myself would rather buy a Pioneer 1k and add 4-5k worth of motor work than buy a RZR 1k. Just my opinion but I prefer the quality Honda and Yamaha bring to the table and it's why I had my Rhino for 7 years. By the way, my '06 Rhino 660 was bored/stroked to a 780 with port work, 11/1 high comp piston, cam, HSR 45 carb, dual exhaust, Dynatek, Bronco dry clutch and a few other things I'm prolly forgetting. It was crazy fast and I beat on it for 6+ years and never had a single problem.

I'am guessing or predicting this motor in stock form will be right at 70hp. to outdo the 15 ranger xp 900 at 68hp. however the tourqe of the new honda will probably be where it realy shines!!!

I think it needs to be 60-even. Any less than that and you're gonna kill all the buzz this thing generated last week.

More would be welcome but not needed in the slightest.
