Released today, The Calofornia Air Resources Board relased the official specs for the 2019 Honda Talon 1000 R and 1000 X.

Test results show it producing 77.4 Kilowatts of power which translates to roughly 103.79 HP. And that's plenty for Honda's first entry into the Sports SxS Market!

That's a great place to start, after all that is statistically a 44% increase in HP over the Pioneer 1000s and they aren't no slouch. Not to mention the Talon is around 200 lbs lighter overall.

There will be more hp to the ground with the manual tranny vs belt drive! And it'll stay on the ground when that much power is required!!!

Spot on! And it won’t lose performance like a CVT as the CVT gets dirty and hot or the belt wears.
