I am curious about a spool for the front, or possibly even swapping some parts from the rear diff to the front to make it a locked up 4x all the time. But I would like an image but none of the parts sites show one.

the front and rear differentials have VERY different ratios.

There is a gear reduction in the rear before the rear diff.

I actually think the above pic is of the rear. Here is a pic of the rear on a 2016. Scratch that I mean Front.HL54F1500

The ring gears are the same tooth count. But the rear ring gear looks like it basically IS the method of how the rear is locked all the time. I am just curious if they could swap.

Same 53 tooth count, but the front uses a carrier. I wonder if a guy could just over shim the front to tighten it up a bit. It is currently possible to send (some) power to the grounded front wheel with the brakes, but unfortunately they are all tied together and the results are not like the ATV's.
