The clutch only engaged at (x) engine rpm. So it would just free wheel under less.
So if you cannot pull it to start can you tow it at 70 mph and not harm the transmission?
Haha you said damage no lube gutter openNO! The engine/trans need to be operational for oil to flow and lube all the moving pieces. You'll do some damage if you tow it quickly with no lubrication (I know I'm leaving the gutter open, resist temptation @JACKAL)

My answer was more aimed at towing it behind a vehicle at hwy speedgood to know ,thanks. I guess it needs a kick starter for when the batteries dead. Good reason to have dual batteries with isolator|||
