Camera recommendations for video making

It is an action cam. Really just depends on what and how you are shooting. The action cameras are good at image stabilization, light weight, waterproof and you can get any kind of mount to hold them. If you plan to use a tripod or similar a full size camera will give you more options.

Got a Canon M50, Manfrotto tripod, Rode microphone and some memory cards. I also have a GoPro I've never used and a Joby tripod thing with cell phone mount.

I use a GoPro Hero 8 and am very pleased with the video capabilities. I use a PanaVise 13250 BarGrip XL Action Camera Bar Mount hanging down from the top of the roll cage. Here is a video from this setup.
