I installed a trailer wiring kit 56200 on my Jeep and it works fine. Tap on the rv brakes, and the Jeep brakes light up.
Next up, SMI duo brake kit.
There are various and conflicting videos out there thru etrailer.
The official instructions are dated, having you get into the Jeep wiring when it is probably best to access the just installed wiring harness.
I have been thru this twice and believe the wires from the controller and operating unit are correct as well as the turn signal and ground connections.
My biggest, known issue, is the LED test light. I have 3 shown ways of how to connect it but none work.
Anyone with an idea, I would be glad to try it. thanks
