Who has body panels right now? Was thinking of doing a wrap on a spare full plastic set. I can't seem to find anything anywhere.

Thank you.

Thanks Jen! Now to decipher the color codes. Although I guess it doesn't matter for a wrap... :D

Buy the "Patriot Red" panels. Waaay cheaper than any other color. I only checked the door panels, and they are $16 ea vs. $181 each for Olive or Grey. Camo are over $200.

Curiously the white ones were cheaper for some, red for others and I was thinking of mix -match just for financial reasons, whichever piece was cheapest. Looks like a full set of plastics is $380 that way. My rig is red now... I was kind of scared any other color might slow it down. ;)

And yeah I am planning on a camo wrap.

Anyone ever just buy the film vs. precut? Seems like once it was stretched and ironed in that it would be easy enough to trim with a razor.

Looks good, I turned an 89 RamCharger into 3/4 ton simply by adding AW250 badges. LoL.
One time an Observant OLD MAN said to me: I didn't know they made a 3/4 t RamCharger and questioned the 5 lug wheels......I fessed up....

Wondering why you're buying a new set of panels to wrap, vs just wrapping the ones you have?

Yeah I really don't know Dave, I guess for the sake of originality if I ever wanted to sell it... And I didn't know how the wrap would look over the decals as well.

I guess there's that - but you could always go to new panels with all the stock stickers later, should you decide to roll it back. Save the $$ now and decide if you care about it later. Especially if your current panels are scratched or scuffed up - If you decided to go with new panels later, they'd be all shiny and new.

I think you take your current decals off before a wrap - haven't done one myself.

^^^ All stuff that's been rolling around in my head Dave. ;) Some good suggestions.

I sort of liked the idea if I could find a full set of whites and then another option would be a full color swap at some time I suppose. My current ones aren't too messed up, some branch rash here and there for sure, but still very presentable.
