What’s the best battery to get that fills the battery trey? I got this one. See image. It puts out 13v but it’s about inch and half to small. Don’t want to moving around while riding. Or pop out and and damage something. Thanks in advance for your help and reply’s.

That appears to be a 12amp hour battery. You should be ok with it assuming it's decent quality.

That battery is less powerful than the original batteries that Honda puts in the Pioneers. I have a 500 with a Yuasa GYZ16H which is rated for 16 Ah (16 Amp hours). Theoretically that could produce 16 Amps for 1 hour. If you draw 16 Amps, it would actually last much less than an hour and could overheat the battery. That Mighty Max battery is rated for only 12 Ah (Amp hours), which would only be 75% of the ”weak” Yuasa battery. The compact size is very handy, but it will run low quickly if you are thinking to run accessory equipment, such as audio, lights, or a winch. (I am an electrical engineer.)

I've been running a 12amph battery on my P500 for about a year now without any issues including snow plowing. Couldn't get the bigger one at the time. Brmcq324 is giving good advice. Don't push it and you'll be fine.

I rode my pioneer 1000 last night at 7:30. Parked it in the building. Went to bed got up went to work came home. Came out to get something out of my pioneer at 8:15 and noticed the blue light on the isolator. Why is it staying on for over 24 hours? I’m at a loss as to why it’s stays on. I hooked it up like I was supposed to.

Funny you are asking, my rig started to do the same thing. It’s been rock solid for 4 summers.

gonna check my grounds this WE, and maybe time to replace the auxiliary battery which I should have done when I replaced the main this past winter…

Assuming it is wired correctly AND wired as most people wire it:

The blue light comes ON when the charging source of the primary battery reaches the cut in threshold of 13.4V. It will stay on until it drops down below 12.9V (cut out threshold), then it turns out.

The blue light being "on" means the two batteries are connected in parallel. When the light is not on, they are no longer connected.

His light staying on simply means that his primary battery has yet to drop below 12.9V ... or something is wrong with his isolator (not likely, but certainly possible).
