P1000 Badlands Off Road Park Rules Question

I have a trip planned for this weekend at the Badlands in Indiana. I will be bringing my 16 month old son who I will have in his car seat in the front bench seat of my 1000-5. This is my first trip with him tagging along and I was curious if anyone knew the rules about him needing a helmet? I called the office and the girl I spoke with didn't seem sure about the rules regarding this. I am afraid a helmet will be too heavy for his neck but also don't want to put him in danger. TIA
