P700 Badlands 5k winch ***INSTALL HELP REQUESTED***

Has anyone installed this winch? Where did you mount your wiring under your hood?

I put one on my P500 but eventually replaced it with a Superwinch terra45. It worked fine but was noisy and slow. I ran dedicated wire to front and mounted the fuse and remote box to cross member close to dash.

If anyone has installed this winch, I could use some help. Last thing I have to wire is the remote and switch. The manual says to tie into an ignition (presumably the acc plug) but the diagram shows the red wire running directly to the solenoid. Any help? Attached the instructions as well as a pic (prob confusing)

Pic is misleading. If you wire as shown, winch will always be hot. Wire to ACC for key on power activation.
