P700 Back seat, Looking for help

I have had my Honda 700 for two years and we love it! I'm looking to do something with the back seat so I can put more passengers back there. I usually have 4 little ones that like to ride but the middle bar makes it hard on them. I was thinking of putting a seat all the way across to make it more comfortable. They don't complain but it looks uncomfortable. Any ideas?

I’d use a seat cushion from a two man deer stand, it should go all the way across and make it more comfortable.
