The ATV Safety Institute is scheduled to train over 400 boy scouts and ventures at the 2013 National Scout Jamboree July 15-24th at Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in Piney View, WI. ASI will be on hand to run more than 50 ATV Rider Courses to train up to 408 riders over the course of the 10-day event.
IRVINE, Calif., July 11, 2013 – The ATV Safety Institute will provide the Boy Scouts of America with ATV training for the first time ever at next week's 2013 National Scout Jamboree, July 15 – 24, at Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in Piney View, WV.
The ASI ATV RiderCourse will be available to participants in BSA Venturing, a youth developmental program that includes both boys and girls who range in age from 13 through 20. Held once every four years, the Jamboree gives the scouting community a chance to camp out, meet new friends, try high-adventure activities and enjoy the outdoors. This year's event is significant because it's the first Jamboree to be held at its new permanent home at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve.
