P1000 Anyone get a 2022 Trail 1000-5?

I ordered a 2021 Deluxe last fall with a February delivery, never showed. My dealer let me know in March / April that everything was going to 2022 units. I chose a 2022 Trail 1000-5. He got his allocation list in April and he was to get one on his first May delivery but it backordered on delivery day.

Last call I got was 3-4 week ago he said 8/31/22 but don't count on it 'til it happens.

I believe his reports to me but I wondered if anyone is getting the Trail -5?..

I've seen a few pop in here on there forum already. I'm sure they still have a wait like everything else now a days but also sounds like your dealer isn't the quickest at getting stock.... 🤷‍♂️

Pick up the phone and call around.
they aren't coming to you! and that dealer sure dosnt sound like it either.

Still waiting on my 2022 1000-5 Trail. Ordered in April, supposed to be delivered on May 31st. Now supposed to be August 31st, which is just a few weeks away. Guess have to wait and see.

I put a deposit on my trail mid May. Dealer told me it would be in my first week of June at the latest.
Finally got here this past Monday after being stuck a month at the warehouse a few hours away due to trucking issues.
Will be picking it up tomorrow finally.

So hopefully yours shows up sooner than later.

I ordered mine 2/22/22 and delivery ended up 5/16/22. It was a wait, but worth it for NW Montana. Dealer prep to make it street legal took an extra week or so.

After driving my 1000-5 limited edition my snowbird neighbor had to have one. I live in North Carolina and he lives mostly in Florida. When he returned to Florida he started calling every dealer Google showed him looking for a 1000-5. After a month of searching a dealer he called near Chattanooga,TN told him they were taking a trail off a truck as they spoke. He immediately gave him a deposit and had it trucked to his cabin in NC. I asked him if it was a cancelled order and he did not know or care, he had his machine after an exhausting search.

My dealer called yesterday afternoon and said that the 8/31 date moved to 9/30. This morning I get a text and said that it moved back to 8/30 and it’s definitely gonna ship.

I was able to pickup a 2022 P1000-5 Trail edition in June. Profile picture of it without the roof on the back. It has been on order since June and just came in. Supposed to have it installed this weekend. I love the ArmorTech cab, doors, and windows but wish the door windows were removable or rolled down. They do slide open but not enough to make a difference. Probably going to find a way to modify them if I can’t find a replacement. The doors come off easy enough but that is just too troublesome for summer and I like the lower half to keep down on dust and general safety reasons. Anyone have the ArmorTech doors and a different setup for the side windows?

I got mine and it’s worth waiting for. I wanted a special edition but thee they called said they were discounted and offered me the trail. Have had the trail for three months. It’s hard to get accessories for it because it’s so new. my advice is wait for it and put all your accessories later. you will save a lot of money. example utv801 windshield saved me $200.

the Honda dealer in Shreveport told me that Honda stopped production on the Trail trim package because it slowed the assembly line down as they were trying to meet demand

try carls cycles in Idaho. Ask for Dane Finney. he might be able to help you. And they don’t rape you when you buy it. Also I recommend purchasing extended warranty because the trail is so new. Love mine

You got lucky in my opinion, I don't want a corporation doing the thinking for me with the I4WD system on the LE's, I believe you got the better transmission of the P1's, but me reiterate this is my opinion.

yes I have had a trail 1000-5 for three months.You will love it. I found it hard to get the accessories I wanted because it was so new. Enjoy your new sxs
