I usually have my AR across my lap but it gets kinda tricky keeping it there while steering and holding a beverage. My ole Mossberg just lays on the floorboard ready when I need it, lol.
Very nice. I like the rifles too.I finally came up with a mount design I like. obviously there's not a lot of room to mount 2 rifles side by side in a 700 do there was a lot of trial and error involved to make this work. The mount is bolted to a steel plate under the floor mat that is bolted to the cross members under the floor. The rubber grips are made by Kolpin, I bought them from Amazon. View attachment 28251

I made a boxed platform for the stocks to sit in, lined with some rubber belting material I had. no link but here's what I used, don't go any smaller, these fit snug enoughCould you send me the Amazon link to the gun mounts you are using. I want to stand a gun up on the floor; maybe tie it to the dash. Your images are all long shots. What are the guns sitting on? A rubbery pad?
Thanx! Al
Either bought or custom built? I'm looking for something to hold 2 AR-15s side by side in the center of the cab, floor mounted, muzzle facing up.
That has no character and would be too simple. Here is a removable one from Cabelas for $80. https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai...ahUKEwj-w77lurvRAhWMCpoKHTqXCOMQwg8IHw&adurl=
