  1. 1000 6 Crew
Just over a week ago, I purchased a new 2023 Pioneer 1000-6 Crew (for my wife, of course) as a supplement to my other 4x4 "toys" (Toyota Tundra, '95 LS swapped YJ, '80 CJ7, Kubota LS3700). Have been reading lots of good info on the forum and placed my first HondaSxS wiring harness order earlier today.

I read a post earlier about the shortage of UTVs/SxSs. I had been looking for one for about 18 months. Most of the dealers said it was a 6-month waitlist, so I held off... that is, until I called a local dealer (about 40 miles away) and he had 3 of them in the showroom and no deposits on any of them!! I picked it up the same day and have begun minor upgrades already. This will only be used at our lakehouse to take gas cans to the water/boat dock and the occasional ride through our very quiet neighborhood. No special need other than the golf cart wasn't big enough for me, my wife, and the GoldenDoodle, so now "Oliver" has the back seat to himself!!

No intro post is complete without a photo, so here is one taken today, sitting beside the YJ.

Thanks for the opportunity to continue to learn from such a dedicated group of owners!!

Thanks, guys, for the warm welcomes. Took me a minute to catch on to the "Yoop" but, having lived a short while in Toledo, OH, and working south of Detroit (Detroit Beach, Fermi II), it now makes sense.

Seems like, collectively, you guys are a great representation of the heart and spirit of this great country and I am looking forward to sharing and learning with you all!
