Amsoil/rotella???

For you guys that use amsoil, what viscosity are you using? I'd like to give it a try to see if my pioneer would shift smoother?

I use Shell Rotella 5w-40 synthetic in all my other bike with great results. Thought I'd try something different?

I use there powersports 0w-40 on all my atvs. Haven't used it yet in the pioneer until I hit 600 miles. I use amsoil in everything I got. Not to say other oils are inferior . I did use Rotella before but I just like amsoil that much better. I just like piece of mind.

....so your saying you have used rotella synthetic in your pioneer? I have several jugs of it but thought the 5w40 may be to thin?

I started running Rotella T-6 at 400 miles,it seems to run and shift better.

I recently switched from GN4 to Shell Rotella T6 in my 2011 Rubicon and my 2012 Big Red.


Needless to say, wish I had done it sooner........ T6 is great, IMO.

I recently switched from GN4 to Shell Rotella T6 in my 2011 Rubicon and my 2012 Big Red.


Needless to say, wish I had done it sooner........ T6 is great, IMO.

X2 ran Rotella T6 5w-40 exclusively in my Rincon(s) & Rancher 420AT, and will on my P500 as soon as my first oil change is due.
