I would really just like a nice simple flat roof with lightly tapered edges. The Honda one is just so funky looking. Any news if one in development with any aftermarkets? Plasic/Aluminum I would consider all.

Better yet, how about a clear roof so the passengers can look at the night sky or the scenery...
Maybe "tinted" would be a better choice.

You know....after thinking about it....
How about Electrochromic....if I am placing wishes. I mean a switch during the day to block the sun and turn it off at night to allow views of the night sky. Yes, I am aware that it would be something "new" but could be a major selling point. The weight of the roof might be prohibitive though.

OK got a price quote on this thing Package 1 as equipped in the photo retails for $2399. Dealer from in-town said if ordering 3 or more he would sell them for $1,999.00 each. As equipped has a 36" built in front LED light bar with 6 x 6" sections, has a rear 6" LED light bar, 2 quad led interior lights with rocker switch, JVC Bluetooth Stereo with SIRIUS XM capability 200 watts and 4 x 6"x9" speakers. Don't know how much better pricing we can get shopping around but will call a few other dealers and see where we get down to.

He said they will have a Package 2 for the P1K5 within the month that in addition to everything in package 1 will also include a 12" subwoofer and an 800 watt amplifier all built in. He didn't have a price for the package 2 yet but said he would call me back in the next day or two with a price on that.

Its not cheap roll that many items into one integrated unit the convenience tax packs a penalty. But price all those things separately I come up with about $1500.
