latest mod.. added a new light... went with a KanSmart 52" 500 watt (5 watt LED's - 5D lens) curved... IP68 rating.. it looks good - lights up the world pretty well... Thanks to Taylorman for the mounting hardware... due to the curve... had to bend the mounts a bit to get them to fit flush.. wasn't hard to do..

i will take some closeups of the mounting.. hopefully tomorrow.. really like the curved... with the floods on the sides.. it does a good job of letting you see a wide area and no real need for lights to the sides for me. also it doesn't do a "beam".. it's very bright, but no spot beam.. which is just what i wanted. When i first mounted it.. it seemed like the bolts that come with the light can't possibly hold it firmly in place.... but after it's on and tightened up... seems very solid. i will wait a few months before I can truly comment on that...

here are some other pictures of the mounting... basically you just have some angle iron cut (i could have made them, but Taylorman here has some already cut and drilled -Aluminum, sold me for $10) and drilled.. have to replace the existing bolts used on the ROPS with 1/2' bolts - long enough to use an extra nut on the inside of the angle iron, and one one the outside (so each bolt used 2 nuts... one as a spacer, one to tighten. on the pictures you can't really see the inside nut that's used for a spacer...

to get the right spacing across the ROPS, I had to mount one of them on the inside of the ROPS, the other on the outside of the ROPS.. (both on inside was a bit to close together, and both on outside was just a bit to wide - at least for my light.

I see what you did, turned out pretty slick!

Thanks for the pictures and extra detail, might just save some folks time and grey matter!

Go to amazing Amazon

Here is results. I'm 99% sure it's all the same crap. I got mine in the mailbox. I'll throw them on with my 52 inch curved and let you know how it goes. Here's the ones I got, there is more spendy ones if you like paying more.

Here's what I did. 52 curved with those things I linked. I had to do some minor grinding. Nothing that took any amount of skill just a few minutes. Used a cone attatchment. Used vice grips to just bend how I needed. Very soft metal. Also I need shorter bolts. Way shorter.
