P700 Accessory Wiring Harness Problem

Trying to install LED lights using a Honda Accessory Wiring Harness. It seems most everyone simply inserts the wiring harness in series by removing the cigar lighter plug-in which is female and inserts the accessory harness into the male accessory (Cigar Lighter). I can connect to the lighter end but not the to the power supply side of things.
My harness 08Z02-HL3-A00 has 2 plastic clips and they're both female. Pictures of 08Z08-HL3-600 has the same two female clips. What am I missing? I my pictures, The black plugs will replace each other. But then, I need the green to plug into the black. That ain't happening!

The best I can come up with (instructions are crap in this regard) is that the wires in the back of the accesory socket are a sub harness. There should be a green 2 pin somewhere that you unplug and put the accesory sub harness in its place.

I cant say I've eve installed a horn or back up alarm on a 700, and the instructions make it appear that the original sub harness is removed and the new one installed in its place.

Edit: The harness you have is applicable to '14-'16 P700 models. Honda eliminated the 2 pin green connector in '17.

You need 08Z01-HL3-600 I believe.
