So my owners manual is in the machine. I cannot remember when needs to be done? 100 miles or what hours? When i picked it up i asked cost.for oil change and valve settings. It was 441. Does that seem correct?

Several vids on this site showing valve check process and oil change. To me, $441 sounds high but watch the vids and make your own conclusion.

Yes that price is about 150 bucs too much. But they are making up for lost cash from the “Plandemic”. Search this sight, I believe Dg did the great write up on it. I followed it to do mine twice now. Very easy with his tutorial.100 miles is first maintenance

441 is a little high to someone that can do it themselves. oils themselves is going to be about 50 bucks and filter so thats 60-65. then they have to take back cover of and rotate to the mark and then check and adjust the valves if neede with a feeler tool which is about 10-15 dollars 80 bucks total if doing it yourself. and have a couple tools. for 441 i could buy all the tools needed . the book for the machine and still have enough left over to fill my duramax (100) and a few cases of beer. and id be out 2 hrs of my day.

unfortunately thats what the stealers charge for your first check up that you can basically do yourself if u use the search option at the top of the page. We can even help Brandon do a pm on a machine. Theres also a bunch of topics on this in there about the very thing and price u paid that could have saved u some cabbage!
