Has anyone had success with Y harness style 4-point seat belts, similar to the one pictured? I’m thinking this could attach to headrest mount vs. adding an additional anchor bar.
That’s my dilemma, the stock belt is getting into my wife’s neck. Exploring my options...thanks for the feedback.Speaking from a standpoint of no real world experience with one.....I have to guess that the shoulder belts would rub on your neck. I wouldn't bother to even try them personally. Hopefully someone can offer you real world advice though.
I put a shoulder pad on our stock seat belts which helped tremendously. They were under $10 for a pair and a cheap gamble that paid off for me.That’s my dilemma, the stock belt is getting into my wife’s neck. Exploring my options...thanks for the feedback.
Safety is worth the investment. Now have a bar from brick city and harnesses from summit racing on order. I also did more research on this site and liked what I read about the versatility of a camlock system. So shelled out extra for camlocks and harness padding for comfort.I have four point on mine. 2020 1000-5. I used the brick city fab harness bar. Was worth the money install was 10 minutes. Even mounted 4 points in the back seats. My kids are little just wanted to be sure if this thing goes over there stuck inside. I used aces racing harnesses. So far there great. A little more restrictive than oem belts but comfortable and feel very sturdy.
