P1000 3 bed mods. lets see 'em

My Vike has a metal bed, with boss's in the top rail. It was easy to mount a piece of angle aluminum across all 3 sides to help mount stuff to.

The Pioneer's bed is plastic.. what have some of you done to help mount stuff in the back?

It makes loading up the bed like this far easier..

Screw some O-Track to the bed. Works great for me because I can reconfigure to secure almost any load.

I like that Honda at least has some tie downs but half the time they're in the wrong spot or aren't enough. I may have to try out some of that O track.

I like those, they're a lot like the Hi-Lift brand rails I had on my old open trailer.

I want to end up with something along those lines on the top rail of the bed. Not sure how I'm gonna do it yet, but I'll figure it out..

That is the lookout cabin at Burnt Knob on the Magruder Corridor. About halfway between Elk City, Idaho, and Darby, Montana. One amazing trip.
