The 27s should make your speedo accurate. You'll like the tires and the torquey 500 won't even be phased by the extra tire weight.

thank you. I was worried they might rub or be too big. Was going to go with 26” but decided to take the chance.

Excellent. I appreciate the responses. Received them in the mail yesterday. I ordered 1.5” spacers all around. I know this has probably been beaten to death, but should I have just purchased more offset wheels? Or will the spacers do the same job? thanks

I'm running 27 bighorns on stock tires with 1.5 inch spacers all around. Great combo. Smooths ride a bit and it will crawl over anything that wont flip you. It takes some of the snap out of the power, but it's hard to tell by itself. I have another P500 on stock tires and it's obvious hopping from one to the other when loading them on the trailer. But there is plenty adequate power nonetheless. I use first gear more often than never now, like on steep rocky hills. More for control than for fear of stall.

Ordered a set of bighorn 27x9x12 and 27x12x12. Anyone running these? Any difference in the 26”? Got a great deal and couldn’t pass up.

thanks.
We run a 26" Bighorn knock-off. Love them! I've never run 27's.

I just did the exact same thing with 1.5” spacers. Wow! What a different ride. I was contemplating power steering but not so sure after mounting these. Steering is much easier and the ride is better. Thanks for all the responses. 27” tires work perfectly.

27s really helped smooth out the ride, enjoy them.

Did you use your stock wheels...

How wide did you go for all around...And I wondering what it would be like without 1.5 spacers

I did. Walmart swapped them out for $5 a tire. Too cheap not to have them do it.
