Hello all, first time poster here but I’ve been reading up. I have a 23 P500, I’m looking to upgrade to 26” tires to gain a little more ground clearance in the wooded areas I ride in. I’ve been doing my research here but still trying to find out how wide I would be overall with this setup. I’m assuming it would put me somewhere around 53”. Thanks in advance, Steve

Only comment, or 2 comments, I have is 1) my 27's turned out to be around 26ish. I have Wanda tires that came on the ride when I bought it. Also, 2) as @trigger recommended, the machine is already tippy, so you may want to add spacers, too. I added 1" on all 4, so the width is around 53" now, give or take.

11 and 9, same as what you want to get, but mine are 27s. I measured them the other day and saw they are about 26ish tall. Maybe because they've warn down a bit, not sure. I have a 2015 500 and the 27s fit fine, no rubbing and plenty of room. I *assume* the 2023 will be the same.

ETA: Oh, I don't know the stock tires, but if they are the same width (11 and 9) then it should be about the same width with the new tires, maybe a tad wider but not enough to worry about, unless you want to ride on limited width trails or have to fit a specific trailer or whatever.

I think I was at 52 1/4" when I ran 9's up front and 11's in the back. Those were 26" BH 2.0's and were 26 1/2" actual.

That width would work for me. I saw a couple posts that the Bear Claws were running smaller, someone posted the 27” were actually closer 26” so I don’t know if I should order the 26” or 27”

27!

Nah, whatever you want. I'm happy with the 27s on mine, but it came that way so I don't know any better. But, if you are wanting more clearance, then.....

Here is mine from back when I bought it, I don't have any recent pics. I have added 1" spacers all around.

If you use your OEM wheels you could probably stay around 51" wide or go with 6+1 offset in front, but options for that offset is slim pickins. I ran 26x9x12 all the way around OEM 12" wheels on my 2015 P500 and it was still 50 overall width.

It's starting to come back to me now...
never rode the stock tires, put 26's on when I got it home, 9's on front 11's in rear. Don't know what it measured but it was a death trap. Put 1" spacers on all 4 and that's what took me to 52 1/4". Way better!
Changed stock wheels to 5+2's with the same tires, that put me around 54".
Changed tires up front to run 11's on all 4, believe I was at 55 1/2". Tried running 1" spacers on front and 1.5 in back to give it even more stance but the front rubbed bad, bent my rock slider down when in reverse.
Switched out the A arms to forward arched and mounted 28x10's on the 5+2's, with 1" spacers in the rear and I'm around 56".
Keep in mind these numbers can vary on any given day. I always measure to the bulge of the tire on each side with a level and mark the concrete.
If you go up you have to go out otherwise it's capabilities are severely hindered and it's a pucker fest.
