23 PK 1000 Trail I4wd bypass options?? Pros vs Cons?

I live in the Appalachian Mountains, with steep elevations and rugged terrain. The issue I run into is the until shifting up and down shifting with high rmp rev on steep/ slick elevations, causing loss of momentum. So I typically use manual low on all hill climbs. With the i4wd traction control, the unit will brake too much, in my opinion, causing the unit to slow, eliminating traction loss, but the momentum is more important than track loss on the steepest of elevation. The only way I have been able to overcome this issue is using low range. I would love to be able to bypass this feature, possibly toggle on off.

Anyone tried this or found a better alternative solution?

Thanks for all input!

They make a bypass for the Talon, but it's just locking the 4wd clutch in on the back of the differential. Then your in 3 wheel drive since the front isn't locked together side to side.

The Pioneer i-4wd is manual cable actuated so a bypass wouldn't work in that scenario
