For those that obviously don't know: The Yamaha Ultramatic transmission has both a CVT AND a centrifugal clutch and that is what makes it Ultramatic. The centrifugal clutch prevents belt burn at near idle conditions because the belt is allowed to have tension on it continuously. And the CVT part of it is exactly the same as every other CVT....just like the Torq A Verter found on mini bikes.
