Can anyone help me on removing tail light? Added a turn signal kit and had to remove both tail lights. The ball and stem system Honda uses is difficult to remove. Instructions for kit said to pull out bottom, that is it. I did this and it bent the top stem. I used heat to straighten and reinstalled after adding the wiring harness I needed to. I later need to remove one and it broke at the stem on the top ball/stem. Used soap the lubricate the rubber grommet, pushed as hard as I could on ball with a small nut driver. Thru bouts of cussin Honda engineers, I tried the method on instructions and guess the stem had weakened. Things ain't cheap, a benjamin for one OEM ! Anyone help me with recommendations on how to do this? Greatly appreciated.
