hi forum!

life time honda owner - since trail 70 K0, 200m, 200x, a 250 odyssey, a cr fiddy, a crf 1fiddy, a trx400, and now this beast.

i traded in a POS can-am defender for this 2024 talon the other day. i shoulda never left honda. this thing shreds. ive tried to jump it all week and i dont think i got it off the ground yet the shocks soak everything up. so plush.

anyways -im looking at adding the usual lights and whips and winch stuff and found out about the available power under the front fender.

so im just trying to make sure i order the connectos that i need. it looks like i need the harness splitter for the blue keyed-on connecto taped to the frame, and a 50A circuit breaker for the main battery feed wire that is in there somewhere. then from there i can do the needful with relays and bussbars and horns and whatever.

is that it? do i have comprehension of the electric situation honda has supplied under there? i havent even popped the hood yet to see whats doing - im just now in the order parts stage...

thanks people -

You could get a power source plug from the club store, and wire in an Auxbeam 6 or 8 gang switch panel. Run all your accessories from the Auxbeam. Probably the simplest way to make it happen.

I agree with @GovtMule , get familiar with what is available in the club store (Honda SxS Club Online Store)
If you want anything custom, or have questions, start a conversation with @Hondasxs and he can get you all setup.

hi all! thanks for the help so far. i bought the various power take off adapters from hondasxs club store, and some nilight rocker switches and stuff. im big on nilight stuff i really like them long time.

i have been watching accessory install videos, and learned about needing to make a firewall curtain where honda didnt put one out of some rubber sheet, an upside down shift boot at the shifter gate, and good stuff like that.

but i havent seen anything about how to get to the rocker panel switch blanks at the top middle of the dash console. how do i get in there so i can fit my rocker switches in?

thanks for the more help!

awesome thanks. waiting on a 50a circuit breaker and some connectos then i plan on gettin in there and starting wiring stuff in.

went with the combo relay / fuse block from nilight 4Pin 5Pin Bosch Style Relay Fuse 40Amp Relay Box Kit

this box gives you 6 fused circuits - a horn relay and 5 5 pins to play with and its cleaner and smaller than anything i could hack together.

current plan is to take the stock provided OEM front battery feed wire and terminate that to a 50a manual breaker, from there to power a winch, and this accessories box. the trigger power will come from one of the OEM key-on power take off points where ill use some hondasxs adapter - maybe the GPS single wire adapter. i dont know yet i havent opened the hood yet im still planning in my head.
